I have been working as Content Manager and Radio Jockey in Radio Udaan since its inception in 2014. Today, our baby has turned 9. It is an online radio station run by persons with disabilities. The purpose of this station is to provide a platform for PWDs to showcase their talent, share their views and learn new things. I have done three shows so far:
- Inspirational wings to spread positivity and optimism in the lives of people.
- Mystery of 26 for teaching basic English Grammar.
- Vocabulary Dose to enhance the English vocabulary of people.
People often ask me how much do you earn through Radio Udaan. They were surprised when they learned that Radio Udaan was our voluntary project. Here are the three takeaways from my journey with Radio Udaan so far
- The deep affection and regard of our listeners across 115 countries.
- Discipline: Often, after a long day at work, I spare some time for Radio show recordings and content. It makes me a more disciplined person.
- Finally, we experience immense gratitude for being able to make an impact.
